Alissa has extensive experience in business administration and human resources
Breakthrough Behavior is excited to welcome Alissa Waters, SHRM-CP, as the new Director of Employee Experience & Success. Alissa will work closely with all levels of employees to build relationships, support the full scope of human resources responsibilities, and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. She will also plan, implement and evaluate policies, programs and practices.
Alissa began her professional career in human resources in 2015 during her time studying at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, and would later obtain her BSPH and SHRM-CP certification. She is currently completing her master’s degree in business administration at the University of West Florida and plans to continue her education in order to strengthen her knowledge in the field of human resources. Alissa is passionate about structuring an environment that allows the rest of the business to work effectively and grow as an organization.

As a member of the Employee Experience and Success team at Breakthrough Behavior, I hope to help create an environment that supports members of the organization so they can continue to focus on what they do best.”
Alissa recently moved to the Orlando area in June 2021 to be closer to family. She lives with her husband and their dog Stanley. She enjoys working on renovation projects in the new home she and her husband recently purchased.
