Lynn has more than 20 years experience in human resources management, talent acquisition and retention, and strategic leadership

Breakthrough Behavior is proud to announce the promotion of Lynn Hubert to Chief Diversity & People Officer. Formerly the Senior Vice President of Employee Experience & Success, Lynn joins the executive leadership team of the organization, including Chief Executive Officer Maegen Pierce, Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Amanda Kelly and Chief Operating Officer Sarah Vega. In addition to her ongoing responsibilities of championing Breakthrough Behavior’s company values and ensuring the professional development of all employees, Lynn will assist in navigating the strategic vision of the organization, as well as upholding the highest standards of diversity, inclusion and equity in every corporate initiative.

“This new opportunity for Lynn is so well deserved,” said Maegen. “She has helped the organization achieve tremendous accomplishments, including reducing staff turnover by more than 50%. Lynn’s creativity, passion and innovation have revolutionized the organization’s recruiting and hiring practices, improved the entire employee experience, and cemented Breakthrough Behavior as the employer of choice in the ever-expanding field of applied behavior analysis. I couldn’t be more proud of Lynn’s successes, but I am extremely excited about our future.”

Lynn and her team will roll out a number of new strategic initiatives within this role, including an internal Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity Council. Breakthrough Behavior staff will apply and interview for the council, and will be directly responsible for ideating and implementing programs that advance diversity, equity and inclusion in all aspects of the organization.

“This new chapter represents an important milestone for Breakthrough Behavior,” said Lynn. “I am eager to continue upholding our best-in-class values, as well as meeting and exceeding our organization’s goals of becoming a more open, equal and fair institution for our staff, community partners and the families we serve. At a time where diverse voices and perspectives are part of creating meaningful change, the values of our executive team have always completely aligned with those of our company, and I look forward to joining this group and growing our business inside and out.”

Originally from Miami and a descendent of a Cuban immigrant family, Lynn has more than 20 years of experience transforming organizations to best-in-class industry leaders. Prior to joining Breakthrough Behavior, Lynn held human resources leadership positions with various organizations and industries, such as hospitality, bio-tech and professional services firms. She received her bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Capella University, and is certified through the Society of Human Resources Management as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and the Human Resource Certification Institute as a Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR). Lynn is happily married for more than 20 years, and has two children and a dog named Hamilton Alexander.
