Miranda previously served as the Director of Operations and has been with the organization since 2016
Breakthrough Behavior is excited to announce Miranda Bundy as Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management. Miranda will lead the development and implementation of revenue cycle strategies and processes, including patient registration, medical coding, insurance claims and billing. She previously served as the Director of Operations and began working with Breakthrough Behavior in 2016.
“I look forward to breaking down barriers to getting more patients into care,” said Miranda. “The first day of therapy is a huge milestone for the families that we work with. By creating more first days, we make a bigger impact. Our primary goal is getting children into care and keeping them in care to achieve the most progress possible. It’s about prioritizing the patient’s medical recommendation above all else—and doing it in the most effective and efficient way possible.”
Miranda has always had a passion for working with special needs children. She began her career with Breakthrough Behavior in 2016 as a registered behavior technician, and has since taken on additional responsibilities, filling roles as a clinic manager, field operations administrator and director of operations.
“Miranda is one of the most dedicated employees in our organization’s history,” said Breakthrough Behavior Chief Executive Officer Maegen Pierce. “She excels in everything that she does, setting expectations for excellence throughout her department and beyond. This new position is incredibly well deserved and highlights Miranda’s accomplishments in her former roles. I have no doubt that Miranda will continue in her path of success, positively impacting clients and staff along the way.”
Miranda was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and has resided in Orlando, Florida, since 2015. Her interest in serving those with disabilities began with her volunteering in the special needs classroom, and she has committed herself to work to improve the lives of children with disabilities. Miranda likes to recharge by being outdoors, hiking, boating, kayaking and spending time with her beagle Autumn.
