Breakthrough Behavior Expands to Tampa Bay Area with New Clinic in Riverview

The new location will serve children with developmental disabilities in an innovative, safe and state-of-the-art 7,000-square-foot facility

Breakthrough Behavior celebrated the grand opening of the organization’s new clinic in Riverview, Florida, on Monday, expanding services to families in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties in the Tampa Bay region. The new facility marks the fifth Breakthrough Behavior clinic in Florida and ninth overall in the United States. The 7,000-square-foot clinic services children with developmental disabilities through applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment, speech therapy and developmental testing.

“We are so excited to bring Breakthrough Behavior services to Tampa,” said Breakthrough Behavior CEO Maegen Pierce, “Our Riverview clinic is a wonderful introduction to our new patients and their families. We look forward to making a difference in this special community.”

Conveniently situated off Interstate 75 and Route 301 near Brandon, the new clinic is located in a well-appointed food and shopping center featuring retail shops, restaurants, personal services and ample parking. Inside the space, families and children will have access to private treatment rooms, specialty tools and resources, and one-on-one areas designed to maximize meaningful outcomes and achieve patient success. And like all Breakthrough Behavior facilities, the clinic has been customized to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control. This includes divided work and play spaces, private bathrooms, hand sanitizing stations and an open layout to maximize social distancing.

Breakthrough Behavior also operates clinics in Downtown Orlando, East Orlando, Kissimmee and Longwood, as well as three clinics in Central California and one in Northern Virginia. For more information, visit www.breakthroughbehavior.com.
